Garden Trio — Chocolate, Apple & Ginger Mint
3 varieties — 3 bare root plants per variety (9 plants total) Field grown in Brattleboro, Vermont Washed clean of soil, each variety labeled separately, mailed in moist medium
Three mints that don't taste alike, don't look alike, and are all genuinely hard to kill.
Chocolate mint is the one people don't believe until they smell it — dark glossy leaves and a real chocolate-mint aroma that comes from the plant, not from anything added. Apple mint is the gentle one: soft, slightly fuzzy leaves and a mild sweetness that works in tea without taking it over. Ginger mint is the looker — green leaves streaked with translucent gold, brightest in cool spring weather, on reddish stems.
Together they cover dessert, everyday, and ornamental. If you want one box that shows what mint can actually be, this is it.
A note on the ginger mint: its gold streaking is strongest in the cool weather of spring and fall and fades toward plain green in high summer heat. That's the plant behaving normally. Cut it back hard after it flowers and the new growth comes in gold again.
Includes: Chocolate mint, Apple mint, Ginger mint — 3 plants of each.
Ships bare root, each variety labeled separately, ready to plant.
All three are field grown in our Brattleboro, Vermont field, harvested bare root, and shipped clean. Each bundle is pre-labeled by variety so there's no guesswork when they arrive. Soak the roots in water for 24–48 hours before planting — see our Growing Guide at mint.monster for full instructions.
