Mint Monster started the way most good things do — with too much of a good thing.

I've been growing mint in Brattleboro, Vermont for as long as I can remember. What started as a kitchen herb garden grew into a sunny field full of more varieties than most people knew existed: chocolate mint, apple mint, citrus mint, Kentucky Colonel, pineapple, Swiss, wintergreen — over a dozen types, each one distinct, each one genuinely useful.

Mint, if you haven't noticed, is enthusiastic. It doesn't stay where you put it. It takes over. And honestly? I consider that a feature.

I started selling bare root bundles on a whim, and within a week I had more orders than I expected. People wanted good, field-grown mint — real plants from a real place — not mass-produced pots from a big-box store. That told me something.

Mint Monster LLC is my attempt to build something around what I already love doing. Every plant I ship is grown right here in the Connecticut River Valley, washed clean of soil, packed with care, and sent with a note. I know these plants. Some of these varieties have grown in this Vermont soil for more than 40 years.

I'm building this brand slowly and honestly — more varieties next year, Miscanthus grasses, dried herbs, maybe mint products down the road. But right now it's just me, the field, and a lot of very happy mint.
